Anti-Inflammatory Tincture - 2 ounce

Each herb used in the Anti-Inflammatory Tincture is naturally cultivated in a permaculture food forest. The property is free from pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides, relying solely on compost, naturally fermented "fertilizers," and indigenous micro-organisms to provide the necessary nutrition and maintain the farming system.

The Anti-Inflammatory Tincture contains the leaf of the “miracle tree” moringa or malunggay, the vibrant orange root of turmeric, and the spicy root of fresh ginger. Each of these ingredients has a time-tested role in herbal medicine.

Our tinctures undergo a dual extraction process. Initially, each herb undergoes an alcohol extraction process for at least 8 weeks to extract the alcohol-soluble compounds. Upon completing the alcohol extraction, the herbs are then boiled in water to create a decoction and extract the water-soluble compounds.

Each ingredient has undergone several studies (links below) to test the anti-inflammatory effects of these herbs. Additionally, these herbs have been used for generations for their medicinal properties.

• Permie Solutions has chosen to use alcohol instead of vegetable glycerin or other alternative menstruum for the following reasons:
• High-proof alcohol is a traditional and time-tested method for herbal tinctures.
• Vegetable glycerin, the typical alternative, lacks the extraction properties of alcohol, resulting in a less potent tincture.
• A full pipette (dropper) delivers only about 1/30 of a fluid ounce of alcohol—less than what’s naturally present in a ripe banana.
